Zelda Marathon
A personal challenge. Completing all 21 mainline The Legend of Zelda games, each on its original console and in its original version. No remakes, no remasters, no ports. The game as it was released, captured with the best possible setup.
For Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance games, I use a GameCube with the Gameboy Player. For DS and 3DS games, a New 3DS XL fitted with a Loopy Capture Card. The NES is RGB modded, so is the N64, and the GameCube uses a CARBY for native HDMI output. Everything runs through a RetroTink 4K and an Elgato 4K Pro Mk.2.
This marathon started mid-2020 and is still ongoing. It is first and foremost a personal goal that I pursue whenever I have the time and motivation. If someone enjoys the journey, it genuinely makes me happy.
